Carolyn Broome

About the artist: In 1963 began an art course at Sydney North Tech, with a scholarship. Encouraged and guided by Guy Warren who took an interest in me . His family took me to art galleries, and of course I saw his Archibald Prize art works.
Due to having to earn my own living at age 15 , left the course, worked two jobs and supported myself. Married young to Cliff when 16, we have been happily married for the past 42 years.
I became very interested in natural health and associated
themes and became a naturopath/ masseur.
It is my time now and have begun art again. Encouragement from my husband and 6 children,and
tuition from Steve Morvell a renowned Wild Life artist
